Hawzah News Agency- Speaking at an Arbaeen commemoration ceremony at the Islamic Center of Moscow, Kazem Jalali said this year's Muharram and Safar observances were held in an atmosphere of profound grief following the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, lending a deeper and more solemn dimension to the religious gatherings.
"Contrary to the calculations and predictions of the enemies, the Iranian nation, relying on unity, cohesion, and obedience to Wilayat, has withstood pressures and threats and will never surrender," Jalali stated.
'We Are the Nation of Imam Hussein'
The ambassador identified allegiance to Wilayat and the culture of martyrdom as the two fundamental sources of the Iranian nation's authority and victory.
"In the school of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT), the bond with Wilayat and faith in the culture of martyrdom are the wellsprings of hope, steadfastness, and triumph," he said. "In the words of the martyred Lieutenant General Haj Qassem Soleimani, 'We are the nation of Imam Hussein,' and a nation raised in this school can never be defeated."
Jalali pointed to the million-strong presence of devotees of Imam Hussein (PBUH) in Arbaeen processions and the widespread commemoration of the martyred Leader, emphasizing that the culture of Ashura, Wilayat, and martyrdom is deeply embedded in the very fabric of Iranian life and belief.
"Enemies will never succeed in defeating a nation whose way of life and core convictions are rooted in the culture of Ashura, Wilayat, and martyrdom," the ambassador concluded.
